Who runs the site
Techiepugs is run by an independent publisher that builds free reference tools and guides. It is a small operation, not an agency, and it has no app, theme or service to sell. The site earns its keep, when it does, from clearly labeled links and, later, from ads placed outside the tools.
What changed in 2026
For about nine years this domain belonged to a web agency that built Shopify stores and was behind a Shopify color swatch app. In September 2026 the domain changed hands. The agency's services, portfolio and contact details are not part of this site, and nothing here speaks for that company or for Bitfrills solutions inc., which publishes the Color Swatch Pug app.
What we kept is the subject the site was known for: Shopify theme setup, starting with color swatches. The app's listing on the Shopify App Store still links here, so the Color Swatch Pug setup guide is written for its users, with a plain note about who publishes the app and where its support comes from.

How the numbers are checked
Plan prices and payment rates come from Shopify's pricing page and Help Center, and each one is stored with the date we checked it. Theme facts come from the Shopify Theme Store and from each theme's own documentation. When a number has not been checked yet, the page says so instead of guessing.
If a page ever carries an affiliate link, it says so next to the link. Money never changes a number, a ranking or a verdict.
