Who it suits.
SC Product Options has no free plan for a live store. The Developer tier is free only for development stores, and the lowest paid plan, Basic, is $14.99 a month with a 14-day free trial, as shown on October 26, 2026. The app, from Shop Circle and formerly Bold's, adds option fields beyond Shopify variants, such as custom text, dropdowns, checkboxes, dates and file uploads. The Basic pricing card describes it as a way to collect extra information from customers buying complex products.
