Globo Product Options vs Infinite Options.

What each app is for

Both apps do the same basic job. They add extra option fields to your products that go beyond Shopify’s own variants. If you are weighing Globo Product Options against Infinite Options, the shared ground is large. Both listings tag checkboxes, swatches, dropdowns, radio buttons, custom text, dates, conditional logic, gift wrap and paid add-ons such as variant upcharges and setup charges.

The differences show up at the edges:

• Globo Product Options, Variant describes itself as a way to add unlimited custom option fields, including swatches, file upload and paid add-ons. Only its listing tags file upload, fonts, size charts, translation, hide out-of-stock and SKU management. It is listed in 18 languages.
• Infinite Options has been on the App Store since 2015 and covers text fields, buttons, dropdowns, date pickers, conditional logic and add-on products on one paid plan. Only its listing tags bundle features (fixed bundles, mix-and-match, build a box, gift boxes, sample packs) and discount features (flat, percentage and cart discounts). It is listed in one language.

So the variant vs Infinite Options question mostly comes down to which side you need. Pick Globo if your products need customer uploads or a size chart. Pick Infinite Options if you also want bundles and discounts in the same app.

Both listings show a Built for Shopify badge. On October 26, 2026, Globo showed 4.9 stars from 5,209 reviews and Infinite Options showed 4.7 stars from 2,621 reviews. Both counts are large, and the small gap between the ratings does not tell you which app fits your store.

Price and plans in practice

Globo has three plans. The FREE plan works on a live store and includes color and image swatch option types. The pricing card’s support line for it reads “Live chat & email support, no watermark.” The paid plans had a seasonal offer on October 26, 2026:

• PREMIUM: $4.95 a month for the first three months, then $9.90 a month.
• ADVANCED: $9.95 a month for the first three months, then $19.90 a month.

Both paid plans come with a 14-day free trial.

Infinite Options has one plan, The Essential Plan, at $12.99 a month with a 14-day free trial. It has no free plan.

Here is a rough example for a small store that needs paid features for twelve billing cycles. On Globo PREMIUM with the intro offer, that is three months at $4.95 and nine at $9.90, about $103.95. On Infinite Options it is twelve months at $12.99, about $155.88. If Globo’s FREE plan covers what you need, your cost there is zero.

Neither listing shows a price that changes with your Shopify plan. Both say all charges are billed in USD every 30 days.

Theme support, setup and help

Globo’s developer FAQ says the app is built for Online Store 2.0 themes, which it says cover every theme in Shopify’s current theme store and most themes sold elsewhere. If your store runs an older theme, check with the developer before you install.

For Infinite Options, the listing and the developer pages we could read do not state anything about theme support. Use the 14-day trial to test it on your own theme before you pay.

On support, Globo’s listing says help comes from Globo Options by live chat and email. Infinite Options lists live chat and VIP email support from ShopPad Inc. on its one plan. Both listings link to an FAQ, a tutorial and app documentation. Neither listing describes setup steps beyond those resources.
